Podcasts

In addition to creating the concept for Mom.com’s first documentary podcast, America’s Moms, I produced, recorded, edited, story-edited, and distributed the series.

In each episode of America’s Moms (And What They Taught Us), a different mom from the Mom.com family reflects on what they’ve learned from their favorite maternal TV characters through interviews with experts, other real moms, and the talent who brought those onscreen moms to life. In just its first few episodes, guests included actresses Patricia Heaton & Fran Drescher and writer-producers Phil Rosenthal & Gloria Calderón Kellett.

Podcast Network Development & Audio Partnerships

As lead on audio content in this role, I was responsible for creating and overseeing an expanded roster of podcasts. I also personally designed and managed a podcast partnership model intended to balance a shoestring corporate budget with talent-friendly contractual terms and a collaborative environment.

Here’s a look at the lineup of shows that the media company introduced under my leadership. Some are originally developed programming, and some are partnerships formed using the partnership model I created.

A clip from a segment of the Disney-ABC food-centric talk show The Chew, based on my original concept.

Music Videos

I producededited, and sourced all assets for the below videos.

An abstract music video for Billboard-charting musician Kevin Devine's song "Fiscal Cliff," comprised entirely of public domain stock footage. Initially entered in competition, Devine ultimate named this the official music video for the song.

A stock footage-based video made for Matthew Caws' (Nada Surf) cover of Kevin Devine's "Fiscal Cliff", this project was made on spec to serve as a spiritual sequel to my music video for Devine's original song. Caws subsequently requested to share the video on Nada Surf's own social media.
